Quick and efficient service. The agents at the desk are always friendly and courteous. Always a good selection of cars with a dedicated Emerald club lane in the terminal. Would highly recommend this location for rental car needs.
Worst costumer service ever. This is not the first time that i have a problem at this location, it is not alamo but the national old lady that has the worst attotude. Once again i made a reservation early this morning and when I go to pick up the rental this old lady says oh we are sold out I tried to call you, nobody called me, oh I didn't have your phone number. I rent 3-4 cars a month and you are tellimg me that info wasnt requested for the reservation? No call or apology
Watch out for extra add-on charges when you rent with them! Poor experience with this rental location.
The truck I rented only had 1/2 tank of gas when I picked it up. When I returned the truck they tried to say I had driven it over 200 miles when I only drove less than 50 miles. The lady at the counter did correct the issue after we discussed it and did not charge me for the 1/2 tank of gas so it worked out. They just need to make sure vehicles are full of gas and check the mileage before each rental to avoid future problems. I would use them again, everyone can have a bad day.
Absolutely disappointed in this branch. We had a rental van to evacuate to safety ahead of Irma. Pick up by noon Saturday. We get an email prior to noon that the office had closed????? Obviously I would have assumed the personnel working could have called those of us with remaining reservations and told us of the closure to see if we could have picked up early, which we could have. Didn't hear a word from them. Our other vehicle was too small for 4 adults and 4 dogs to evacuate...thanks National, you left us stranded. Emerald Club member as well, can't see a scenario where we need National from now on, we have many other options here in Daytona, plus I would assume they take better care of their clients....
