My daughter spent over three hours at the ER trying to get assistance with her issue to no prevail! She is a BCU student that is four hours from her home physician. She just saw the doctor at home in September and the meds provided have not worked and the issue has continued for three months. Her visit was prolonged by drawing blood etc but no prescription to help with her issue but they wanted her to sign papers before she left! She called me and told me she was not signing the papers because she felt like she was not helped and I totally agreed with her not to sign any documents and we will dispute any bill from Halifax!
Don't bother sending a dead animal here.. below average care, nurses are more into personal cell phones then care.. made me wait 3 hours for meds tonight.. 5 hours this am because cellphone comes first..
Putrid hospital.. if you have anything more complicated than a hang nail or diarrhea, go somewhere else. They bring the bottom of the barrel to work there. The nurses are mostly all terrible uncaring and unskilled. The doctors are clueless, like talking to your dog and they don't understand you and they turn there head huh.. The best person by far was the emt but he doesn't even work their. They have no clue about irregular heart beat. They refused to monitor me ovenight even though I had a really bad episode. Firstly they said I could stay but after $ became an issue they kicked me out without any help at all. They did basic simpleton tests like blood work basic ekg and chest x ray. And they know or at least anybody with a clue knows you have to catch the episode to know what it is. I begged them to watch me because it will come back. They said screw you its probably anxiety cause i was anxious of course i was anxious i just nearly passed out and had crazy irregular heart beats. I was left stranded by an awful place. Dr. Chang was the ring leader of an incompetent uncaring crew, she wouldn't even listen to my history or symptoms. If you have to go around here try fh deland or 2ND choice fh daytona. There not top places but they do care.. I will be seeking answers and recourse for this
gee reading all of the reviews and it appears to be a horror story. Al I can say is they saved my father from death and pulled him out of a massive heart attack after coding three times. For that reason I would give 10 stars if I could.
If I could give a zero I would after my daughters "treatment" here. Not once was I able to speak with her "doctor" not 1 call returned. No questions answered. I could go on but this place isn't worth it. My daughter was released, 2 days later taken to a Broward hospital. And I will be contacting a lawyer.
