TERRIBLE. Family member with chest pains came in ambulance. Waited 3 hours in intense pain. When a nurse (Charles) finally came in to give morphine for pain, he couldn't find a good vein, so he left! We waited some more.

The worst, most dismissive attitude I've ever seen in an ER.

He is a strong person, successful attorney, not a complainer.

Would have had better care at vet clinic . Very very over price for the amount of care. Foreign doc has no bedside manner .could never recommend this money Hungary place to anybody run for life

You guys are a disservice to the medical field. How in the world do you run absolutely no test and give a diagnosis. I will never use this er again.

Plus, my dad is 85 years old and described being in the worst pain of his life.

This is the worst hospital in the area, by far. It's a shame too, I think being the only trauma 1 hospital, you would try to have a decent reputation. My nurse looks and sounds like a horse that just likes to complain about who is what kind of sick all night (can you say HIPPA VIOLATION). I have been here 5 hours and have not spoken to a doctor. I'm so glad Philly has so much confidence in her years of medical school, that she certainly does not have. Be scared to bring your children too, as a formal complaint was filed when the permanently zapped my son's adrenal glands because of their overly aggtlressive steroid policy. It's God's waiting room. If I did not already feel close to death, I would have stayed home to rot, instead of coming to this FILTHY excuse

Currently in ER. Intake (John) is quite rude and sarcastic to several patients, which is a little understandable given that he is the only person processing intake. Security guard is loudly talking about the automatic rifles he owns and is building with another security agent. Patients are sitting on the floor because there aren't enough chairs.

Perhaps this was because they were extremely busy. All the more reason not to come here.

This one nurse (Connie) gave no apology for Charlie leaving. She simply said his shift was over. She gave ZERO impression of urgency but rather sat looking calmly at a computer screen for the next 15 minutes or so... then when she finally got up, she went to go see another patient rather than taking into consideration that my dad had already waited "in line" to see a nurse - but the nurse left.

When I went to the nurse's station, they said Charles's shift was over and he was going home! The new nurse, starting the next shift, was Connie Morgan. She gave nothing but thinly veiled dismissiveness when I asked if they could actually give my father some pain medicine (again, after waiting 3 hours already) and having the first nurse walk out.

No sign in sheet, intake is happening based on John's memory and the phone number listed is rhe oncology department.
