As an adult female, who went by herself to this store, I would not recommend any single female going to this store alone at night. The rest of the customers were men who made me very extremely uncomfortable being there alone to say at best. Felt if I'd have known this information myself I would have waited for daylight or went to another location altogether.
The store manager, Kay, is not here for her customers or employees. She should not publicly berate an employee in front of a customer. Shame on you. She is not an example of how to run a business as well known as yours is. Maybe a garbage truck driver would suit her better.
My family and I went to this Home Depot today to try and buy mini-blinds for a window. We bought the wrong size and had to return it to get the right size. Both times we went, we were greeted by the same lovely lady who helped us. After the second time, she asked what we were getting the blinds for and upon learning our stressful story with frustrating rental she explained she was the store manager and told us the blinds were "on the house." Changed my day completely. Consider us Home Depot customers for life.
Doesn't price match Amazon, how do these stores stay in business with merchandise being cheaper on Amazon with the same day shipping? Makes no sense and never will. Almost bought a smart thermostat but Home Depot wouldn't price match with Amazon and the item was 30 dollars less. To the hell with it, scanned the UPC code and bought the thermostat right outside your store. Should be here today. Thanks for nothing!
Buyer Beware - we purchased 4 appliances and 2 did not work. Be aware that Home Depot only stands by appliances for 48 hours. After that, you are out of luck. In fact, they stated to us, "Not Our Problem" after our refrigerator stopped cooling after 6 days. The manufacturer cannot fix it and they will not replace it. They said Home Depot has to replace it. Home Depot says GE has to replace it. We are stuck with no help. No one returns our calls. This cannot be legal!
