I told them I needed a hammer drill powerful enough to get through cement. We were in a rush because they were about to close and they accidentally sold me a regular drill. When I went back to return it they said since it had a scratch where I attached the handle it could not be returned or even get store credit. I already have a regular drill so I wasted $100. I gave them 2 stars because everyone in the store is always so nice but the fact they couldn't even give me store credit for selling me the wrong drill is upsetting. I went and got the correct drill from Home Depot. Unfortunately I'll go there from now on even if it's an extra 10 minute drive
My flashlight didn't work and the battery was old so I bought a new battery for $12 , walked out to the parking lot and installed it in my flashlight. Didn't work. It was the flashlight itself that was bad, They didn't have flashlights or replacement parts so I returned the battery. They wouldn't take it back. Hurricane season. people buy stuff for the hurricane and return it when the storm passes. The clerk assumed that policy applied to 3 minute ownership.
I've shopped here for years but no more.
I went in to store and was greeted immediately and asked if i needed help. I gave the employee my list and he got all of it for me and explained to me how to use the wall patch repair materials in detail. I went home and did what he said to do and i successfully repaired my wall. What a refreshing experience to get great knowledgeable customer service!
As soon as you walk in you a greeted by an associate and they are ready to assist with locating items in the store., answer questions about projects. Duplicate keys, steam cleaner and pressure washer rental by the day. Employees also mix paint and have a small outdoor garden center. This store is somewhat pricey but the convince of not having to travel west all the way out by the interstate.
I was recently in the Daytona Beach Shores Ace Hardware to pick up some cleaning supplies for my new business and met a gentleman named Ryan he went above beyond on taking the time not only to help me with what I originally came in for but he took the time to talk to me about a personal issue I was having and I left there feeling better than when I walked in. I will never shop Lowes or Home depot ever again. Thank you Ryan and Ace Hardware I will be back.
