I personally think it's a management issue. If I seen a party of 10 walking away from my empty club over a high cover I would probably just let them in.
Awesome night club! We went for spring break and really enjoyed. Great crowd of college students has free drinks most of the time and great music!
We showed up to a empty club at 12am ready to drink until 3am hard!!! They want $10 per person at the door just to walk into a empty club. We say, it's not worth 10 to walk I because nothing is going on. They agree and watch us walk away to the Voodoo lounge which has no cover and is packed shoulder to shoulder!!
Had a great time though!!!

I got hit by a guy and he pushed my mother on the floor and have me a not and my moms wallet got stolen and wouldn't let her look for it... Deff don't recommend this club
