Tom Spiker was a great salesman. He knew we had had a long day shopping at other stores and he made the selection of their furniture very easy for me. And the price was right too!

I came out to visit furniture stores today with the purpose to buy furniture for my new home. This was my first stop. I walked in literally a few steps behind another lady and she was approached and greeted in a very warm & welcoming way, however the same women that greeted her turned and walked the other way. Though, there was a man who greeted me in the distance and shouted to me "if I need anything..... my name is..." and that was it. As I walked and noticed other shoppers, the sales associates would periodically come back to them and ask "so what do you think or did you made a decision yet or can I do anything for you" etc.... I walked the ENTIRE store, even the back room in which a female sales woman walked right into my direction, looked me in my face and said nothing. The store was not even busy like it was down the street. There were associates talking to each other and hanging around but that was it. There were enough associates per customers in the store and NO ONE felt the need to make a sale with me. Not sure if it because my skin is darker, not sure if it's because Im a female and was alone, though I'm married with a double income, not sure if it was because I look younger, though I'm 40. I can only think that, because I'm African American and maybe fit a criteria that assumes my green money is not good enough, that possibly they don't want to waste their commission time with me. That's fine...my money is good somewhere else. But just an fyi....I only came as a FIRST STOP because a client of mine told me just yesterday how she and her veteran husband just bought a new bedroom set and said I may want to give them a try, even though I have an account with another store already. So per my small business, I won't suggest this business to my professional based customers who like me, may have a darker skin tone. TREAT EACH CUSTOMER LIKE YOU WANT TO BE TREATED. I HAVE A BUSINESS AND KNOW THIS AS A WAY OF LIFE. YOUR PAYCHECK MAY BE BIGGER IN MANY MORE WAYS THAN JUST ONE. My husband does retail sales for a living as well for a major company and has done so for many years in the industry, so I know this was not right.

Salesman was personable and answered our question. We had an unusual question and rather than bluff us. He said "let me look that up" Delivery was on schedule. Quality of everything was excellent. Could not be more pleased.

I just recieved my new sectional and it is amazing .Major and Jay the delivery guys were the most polite and professional people that I have ever met. They put this couch together with ease and fully inspected for any flaws . I have never experienced such professionalism from delivery people in my life . I will not only recommend Signature to my friends but I will have them demand that Jay and Major deliver the items . Next time I shop at Signature I would not be surprised if one of these guys were the store manager !

We were so excited we had almost finished renovating our home and were ready for all new furniture. Everything was great in the beggining. We spent of $14,000 in new furniture. However one of the deliveries damaged our walls. We didn't want money we wanted someone to fix it. The store did not care said it was not their problem. I had to deal with the delivery people. We tried calling managers to no avail. Very disappointed in their customer service. In the end three weeks had passed with no repair and we had the wall repaired on our costs.
