It directly flies to/from Atlanta Airport in Georgia, a "hub". It is operated and owned by the County. It is busy, and renovations are in progress, but it is otherwise the same as it was years ago when I first came to Volusia County from Southern California.
Small, easy airport to Navigate with a friendly staff. Good food options are limited.
Now that they have a connection to JFK, this is my airport of choice to literally go anywhere else in the world. No hassle short TSA lines and plenty of seats open. Lost a star for not having Wi-Fi/consistent Wi-Fi
great quick flight to GA. Only wish they did straight through flights to farther destinations
Security and gate agents are not open early in the AM. If your flight is in the morning plan on getting there an hour ahead of time.
